Sorry I haven't had the chance to write yet, been crazy busy!
I'm enjoying it so much here so far. Well I always enjoy it but I'm enjoying working XP
Dish washing is actually a lot of fun :)
I get a serious facial from all the steam that come from the huge machine. haha.
Ive met a lot of cool people, and reconnected with a lot of other friends from last summer :)
Last night was a crazy emotional night, we had soul house which is our worship time (concert type deal). At one point this guy went up during one of the songs and said that if anyone needed a prayer to please not hesitate to come to him. And I was already feeling emotional but for some reason that made me crack. I started bawling and had to sit down. By the end of the show I was just sitting in a ball on the floor crying and prying about so much. Later on I saw my friend Eric and he gave me a hug and told me that he collapsed at soul house too and we talked about it and stuff.
Man what a crazy night!
I got my schedule today, I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off every week :)
I have to get up at friggen 7:00 am whenever I work breakfast (which is often) should be fun, I'm excited and stuff :)
On Thursday (I think its Thursday) we (staff) have this thing called "love boat" we go into town and get on this fairy and go around the lake and party, dance and everything, should be pretty cool beans :)
Oh! where I'm living! I live in the Hospitality house. Its all the female hospitality staff (kitchen, office, ect). But the "cabin" is awesome! Two floors, tv (just for dvds), mini fridge, microwave, and a huge bathroom. Its great! And the two girls I share my room with (Jess and Rachel) are really awesome. We're all very open with eachother and share absolutly everything.
Well thats all for today, I'll write again when I get the chance.

ReplyDeleteEarly mornings aren't fun, but I guess if you're around people having fun at that time in the morning it takes away from 7am wake up. :)

Glad to hear your meeting new people and connecting with everyone. I know early mornings suck, but at least you enjoy your job :)
Hopefully I'm able to get out there and see you and Keith sometime this summer.
Oh yea...Marilyn is doing awesome...She's not happy that Harliegh and Sally won't leave her alone...But that's just cause they have no idea what she is lol...I'll try and add more pictures to facebook soon.
